Yo-kai Watch♪ (2021) follows the adventures of Nathan Adams, Jibanyan and Whisper, continuing the episodic segment format that was previously established in the original anime series and the Yo-kai Watch! series. Yo-kai Watch♪ (2021) takes place after the Yo-kai Watch! series where all of Nate's Yo-kai Watch models he has collected have gone into repairs, so he gets an enhanced original Yo-kai Watch model from Whisper as a replacement, that recognizes all types of Yo-kai Medals.
