Kurei Soichi (Kitayama Hiromitsu) is a magazine editor. He is currently working on popular manga series Million Joe. The writer of the manga series is Magata Tsuneo, but he suddenly dies. Kurei Soichi is devastated because he feels Million Joe should be finished. Kurei Soichi then makes a suggestion to Magata Tsuneo's chief assistant Terashi Ryota. The suggestion is to hide the death of Magata Tsuneo and for Terashi Ryota to finish the manga series using Magata Tsuneo's notes.
