Based off the video game Star Ocean: the Second Story, Claude was exploring ancient ruins on a unexplored planet when they activate, sending Claude flying through space to the underdeveloped planet Expel. He meets Rena, a girl with healing powers, and together, work to discover why the planet is going chaotic.
